No, it doesn't. At all. If you think 800PP is worth hours of micromanaging, more power to you. Go for it.

I don't like being undercut by one either. However. I realize that player has the right to sell the card for whatever price they choose. I can choose to be uptight about it, but for what gain? But I just lower my price and go on my way.

When you see a card you want to buy with two sell orders within one point, offer to buy it for one point less than the lowest sell.

I am going to try that as soon as I figure out where to post my -1 bid.

Just for grins

I posted two copies of BBREF 2 Heinie Manush for sale Sunday afternoon at 1:30. He's a piece of three missions, two BBREF 2 missions (Lone Stars and AL) and also the Dwayne Murphy mission. His L10 was around 2000, I posted the cards at prices of 1950 and 1968, there was no intervening offer between those two prices and one below.

They sold at 7:59 and 8:22. You all have to remember that there are many reasons for someone to buy a card, and with thousands of players it's horribly unlikely that there is only one guy looking to buy any particular card.

@Bailey - ROFL - I like that idea!

Exactly. There are so may ways to play cards, in league or all kinds of tournament formats, and there's always the "my favorite player" reason for buying the card.

I don’t even bother listing cards that aren’t significantly over quick sell price…

Same. At this point in the year, it's gotta be worth at least 3-4K for a gold and 9-10K for a diamond - otherwise I just quick sell or fill a low buy order for it. It's just gotten too tedious and too many other sell orders with lower priced stuff.

Ditto. When you're dealing with missions that require the kind of points that late-cycle requires, an extra 30 or 300 points is irrelevant.

I'm with you guys

But I constitutionally refuse to fill buy orders that are less than 111, 1111, 4444,or 22222 because I get nothing more out of them than I do by quickselling.

Don't play in the kitchen if you can't handle the fire

I understand frustration, but this is a game. There is nothing wrong with what the people are doing. You can do the same exact thing. I do not know you, and you very well may be an very strong human being, I'm simply taking your message and responding back to it.

One of the hardest parts about society, is people can't handle failure, so they cry about it, until they get their way. People have become weak, and we need people to become strong.

I hope no rules are changed to this.

I haven't read all threads to this, just a few of them.

You actually always get the minimum.

I fill those orders all the time. If you fill an order for 4,001, you'll get 4,000 PP for that. You can't get less that 4K for a diamond (or whatever the amount is for whatever level of card), even if you sell it for 1 PP over the minimum.

Or, is it Orson Scott Card's, "Do not be the ant. Instead, be the shoe."?

I'll go with Card's statement....only because he's the author of my favorite book of all time...

I've never read the other book, just got the quote a while back from one of my fellow bloggers. As for OSC, I loved Ender's Game, but was terribly disappointed by the movie. Also, prefer Ender's Shadow to the original.

FYI, my favorites of all time are the original 5 Amber books and the original 4 Dune books. Especially the Dune book fascination may explain my bouts of ferocity with others to you. I'm not a bad person, but I have the attitude of the knife.

The recent Dune movie (with the second part coming out soon) mostly did the book justice, IMO. Outside of the glaring casting issues, really well-made adaptation.

I suffered through the first two adaptations. Still can't figure out how Kyle Maclachlan gets work after the first Dune AND Showgirls...

Now that I think of it, watching the first with the audio from the second would probably be a hoot...provided enough whiskey was involved!

I actually enjoyed Lynch's 1984 version; it's goofy and condensed, but it holds up as a lot of fun for me. Watched it again not too long ago.

In the new one, the cinematography and world-building is incredibly well-done - and Chalamet is the best on-screen Paul, for me.

I enjoyed this, but its a difficult way to think in todays society.
