large file backup issues

anyone else having trouble making a backup in OOTP 24?
some days everything works perfectly. Other days i get can't make back-up in folder i have selected.

i've found a couple of work arounds, but they don't always work either.

eventually i just exit the saved game, restart it and in the back file boxes, i select pick a drive and manually create a file where the game should do it on it's own. (what i do is go to C drive, user, one drive, OOTP, OOTP 24 saved games, then create a file folder for current game date.) That seems to work about 75% of the time. not certain if my backups are getting too large due to player edits i've been doing or what. Anyway, just curious if the issue is isolated to my set up or if anyone else is having intermittent issues as well.

musta been something with my system. past two days - everything working perfectly.
