There's still hope for Dallas. Panthers scored 30 vs GB.........

........And then never scored again.

Based on that horse collar call, I would think Dallas is still the clear favorite to win.

Is this the end of the McCarthy era in Dallas?

I'm thinking yes.

Does Belicheat want to go where he isn't in charge of personnel?

All Cowboys players get sausage for dinner. No utensils to cut it with, just eat them whole.

Dak continues to add to his legacy...and it's not a good one.

This time he and the team choked. Before this game, the Cowboys beat the teams they were expected to beat in the playoffs, and lost to the better teams. Thats common for a lot of teams and QBs.

I think he just wants to break Shula's record. I don't see him coaching much longer, so I'd say yes, he's probably not going to be in charge of personnel.

His stat line ended up looking pretty good. The Dallas defense is far more to blame for this loss.

Halftime score: GB 27, Dallas 7

2nd half score: Dallas 27, GB 21

That doesn't tell the whole story because each team's offensive and defensive performances don't happen in a vacuum, but if the Cowboys had been behind 10-7 at the half and then scored 20-some points in the 2nd half to win going away, nobody would be blaming Dak. They'd just say that after a slow start, he and the offense did what they needed to do.

So ya, this one is primarily on the defense.

Frank Thomas, when he played for the White Sox, was famous for hitting three run homers when they were up by six runs, but striking out at the close/late situations.

Dak's numbers in the first half were terrible. You can't blame Dallas' defense for that.

Edit to add...when you're 32 points up, you can play soft, and trade yards for time. This is exactly what happened.

One team did their homework and the other team didn't.

Here's what I've noticed, and most Cowboys fans probably do as well. When the Cowboys get down by two scores their offense plays tight, nervous, almost shuts down. They basically choke.

This is why you can't go by the 2nd half score. The players on the Cowboys offense came to the realization that the game was lost, so they started to play loose. No more pressure. This team can't play under pressure.

Bottom line, both offense and defense folded like a cheap paper back. I don't know how you fix that. The game was over at 14-0. They played tense. Once they get down their offense looks terrible.

GB's offense scored on 6 of their first 7 possessions.

How is that Dak's fault?

Dak can take blame for his 2 picks, the first of which was a good play by the DB (the other team gets paid too). But other than that, Dallas' D stopped NOTHING. NOTHING! Did Love ever have to throw into coverage? Didn't Dallas record zero sacks? Didn't AJones run for plus 5 a pop? There was plenty of blame to go around & shouldn't rest on one man's shoulders.

Since the Bills want a new stadium, shouldn't the NFL be required to put into the budget snow plows & snow removal? Instead of not only putting a multi billion dollar bill on the tax payers budget, but also asking them to provide manual labor so they can open their doors for business?

I will have to agree.
The cowboys biggest problems have been in the playoffs.
They somehow manage to get around 10 wins a year.
So if Belichick coaches 4-5 more years he might get it.
However i'm not sure he would add any more titles to his trophy case.
It would have taken 20 years but it looks like Belichick will be following Parcells again.
