Additionally, I am nearing completion of the next update for my Negro League Facepack. This will represent every player from 1886 through 1937 (with the goal to finish up with the 1948 season).

This file has all the current photos as of about Jan 4. If I can get updated photos of any trade or free agent movement close to opening day I will post those.

Hopefully I can help. I'm on a Mac, but it might be the same for Windows.
Copy all the .jpg files to: /Users/your name/Library/Containers/com.ootpdevelopments.ootp24/Data/Application Support/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 24/photos

Open the game and make sure that in the Facegen settings you have search for photo first as the picture search mode option.

Close the game.

Navigate to the folder :/Users/yourname/Library/Containers/com.ootpdevelopments.ootp24/Data/Application Support/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP Baseball 24/saved_games

find the folder with the name of your saved league. In my case it's 2024.lg.

From there go to news/html/images/person_pictures and delete everything in that folder. It will be a lot. Then go to news/html/images/profile_pictures and delete everything in that folder. Keep both folders, just empty them out.

Restart the game, open your saved game and they should be there. I hope this helps.

Two formerly "found" players moved to "missing" status: Edward Beavens and Joe Bernard.

I have not updated the Negro League Facepack but am currently working through the 1940 season. I should have that up and ready next week or so.

I have all the historical photos but I can't get it up loaded to google drive. It's almost 21,000 pics altogether for that one. The 2024 file is about 1900. Some players have the same name (Will Smith Dodgers and Royals) and a couple of others. If the wrong picture loads up just go to player editor screen and upload the correct one.

For those that are interested, I have uploaded the update for the Negro League Facepack to include the seasons 1886-1940. Today I start on season 1941 with the ultimate goal of going through the 1948 season. As expected with the unfortunate lack of coverage, there are many missing players scattered through the annals of the Negro Leagues. If anyone has or discovers pictures of these players please don't hesitate to post them.

Question: Do you have a table with the sources for all of your images, or just more recent finds and upgrades? I'm more interested in the 19th century and early 20th century players than more modern ones.

I've only been keeping track of my finds, typically through my posts in this thread. Before that, new finds (especially missing players) were tracked through the SABR pictorial history newsletter. I believe that is defunct now as it hasn't been updated since 2018. I'd be interested in doing s spreadsheet for reference.
