Multiplayer - Game crashes on load during "Loading Players" text - Online League Cannot Sim Forward

Hello,

Our file for our online league crashes on load for me (commissioner) and all GMs. I even reverted back to a previous version of the file, which does not have this specific issue, and it still crashes in the same spot when I sim forward and save/restart.

The last thing I do before the issue starts is I remove and replace a GM profile. We're having a lot of glitchy-ness with GM profiles - mainly ghost unemployed profiles appearing and teams with human GMs populating as available teams under profile team selection (and vice versa - available teams not selectable). So, I suspect this may be related to our GM profiles problem.

I uploaded the save with the name FIHL_Crashing.zip. I'm afraid it seems we definitely need dev help to get out of this one

The players.dat and retired.dat files (i.e., all the player data) in FIHL_Crashing.zip were corrupt, which is unlikely to be related to the GM issue. The pre-crash save's data is OK, but I'll need the commissioner password to investigate further with it to see if I can get them to break in the same way, please PM it to me. It's very odd to get file corruption that's repeatable like that; we'd really like to see what's going on there.

I have more time to troubleshoot this week than last week, so thankfully, I was able to continue re-simming and found the exact click which corrupts the file.

We have temporary NMCs for waiver claims disabled. Kurtis MacDermid was placed on waivers earlier in the season and claimed. He does not have a NMC on his contracts page, but he is still unable to be traded and the NMC checkbox is checked when you edit his profile. Strangely, this isn't happening on any other recent claims - just MacDermid.

The corruption occurred when I edited MacDermid's profile and unchecked the NMC box. I did this in all of my sim attempts. I was too distracted by the GM profile weirdness to realize the real culprit.

So yeah, we're back up and running. I personally don't need a dev to remove the corruption from my uploaded file at this point, but wanted to add this context in case it benefits you guys.

Thanks for letting us know, sounds like there may be a bug with that setting that needs to be worked out.
