3D suddenly stopped working. Any ideas?

Let me preface this be saying that I've used a MacBook exclusively for over a decade because it was required at work. I'm basically PC illiterate at this point, and I'm playing on a new PC that I got for Christmas.

Everything worked great from Christmas day until yesterday. Now, my 3D is disabled when I load the game. When I enable it and try to play a game, the field is black and then the game crashes. This wasn't happening until yesterday, so I know my laptop is capable of running 3D. I tried reinstalling the game and my drivers. Neither helped. I assume I've accidentally changed a setting on my laptop or something. Does anybody have any ideas what I might try?

Edit: I've also tried restarting my PC several times.

I would suggest trying to update the OS, since on Mac this also updates video card drivers.

I’m on a PC. Like I said, I’m PC illiterate after using a Mac for years. Lol

Oh, sorry just saw you mentioned Mac and somehow my brain skipped all the rest. My bad


So on a PC, you would need to just update the video card drivers, not the whole OS.

Solved it! I figured it was something on my end. My graphics were disabled! No idea how that happened! Thank you! I think I just needed to talk through it with someone.
