Well, to answer your previous post, in TF2001, there were fighters rated all-time in the archive who were currently active (so, basically, there two. The all-time and the current). I don't know if they did that for this release, though.

Secondly, the system isn't that complicated.

Someone with the drive and motivation to rate a lot of fighters could do it realistically (ie wild and his year o' rating fighters)

What I think would be great is if someone created a website where people could submit their ratings for fighters for everyone else to see. That way, we don't have to reinvent the wheel as you put it. We could look at other people's ratings and see how they work. Maybe the forum people would create a new forum here where we could post our ratings.

Just a thought.

I think the idea of a separate forum to post ratings is a great one. I tend to update my current universe of fighters every quarter or so. With more time and knowledge of results and prospects I would do it sooner.

If someone else can post the next Kermit Cintron before I get a chance to do it, I'd love to grab it and plug it into the game.

this is great news, one question? Why we have to wait a week from dec 8th to download? And i hope You have Tarver rating diffrent from before the roy jones fight.

You don't have to wait a week FROM 12/8 to download...as of yesterday (12/1), you had to wait a week BEFORE you could download...which leads us to 12/8.

Great idea!

I also plan to set up an export/import format for single fighter records which you just download, double-click, and it's in your database. Coming later!

Hopefully everyone will realize that the game will have bugs .... the majority of computer games do .... but also remember that the bugs will be patched .... can't wait to see all the "this is the worst game ever because of -insert minor bug here- " posts ... congrats on finally getting it done, I believe it'll be worth the wait
