Multiplayer League Question (relating to July 1st)

I recall hearing that a league is best transferred from one game version to the next on July 1st in-game. Is that still the case? Is there any workaround for this? We'd love to be able to switch to the new software around October or November as we follow a real-life pacing and would prefer not to pause on July 1st for months for the new game to be released.

If not, has this been submitted as a "feature" request? Thank you for any information on this. We are discussing now how best to approach the 2023-24 season and want to do what's best for the league.

Short answer is no, it's not possible. The reason why it is on July 1st is because of all the information that gets switched in the DB, and it's the natural point to allow saves to transfer from 9 to 10.

Could it change in the future? Yes. Will it happen in the life cycle of FHM10? Unlikely.

I appreciate the reply. Hopefully, it's possible in the somewhat near future. It works really well in OOTP, and allows for some more flexibility with league pacing.
