Awards
What is the best academic award for? And what is the best overage award for? Just trying to figure out if these should be used for a fictional NHL league with only reserves used.

Academic award goes to a player who has high ratings in intelligence and a couple of other hidden ratings, with a bonus if he's at a school with a good academic reputation; it's intended for junior and college leagues.
Overage award will only make sense in a league with a maximum age and a restriction on the number of overaged players allowed, i.e. North American junior leagues. (Although it'll work with any league that has an age limit, it'll select from every player whose birth year = the starting year of the current season - the maximum age.) |
