World Junior Crashing Issue

I'm controlling the NCAA team Alaska-Anchorage and the USA World Junior team and my game crashes while trying to sim the World Juniors gold medal game on January 10th, 2024. I saved the file as a different name and resigned from the junior team as was able to sim the game.

Almost certainly a lineup issue of some kind, but we would need to see the save (uploading instructions at https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=341827) from before the game to figure out exactly what went wrong.

So, I should delete all the subfolders before uploading? I know it says this in the uploading instructions, but it feels wrong for some reason. My internet isn't the best.

I noticed the standings for the World Juniors has the correct point total but doesn't show W-OTW-OTL-L. It looks like it combines the W-OTW in the W column but does give different points for the different type of win.

Also, one of the OT games in the preliminary round went past 5 minutes and didn't go to a shootout like it should have. The playoffs have 10 minute OT's and then a shooutout and the gold medal game no shootout. All OT's are 3 on 3. None of this is a deal breaker but if it's easy to fix it would be nice.

Yes, delete them, we won't need the graphics files and probably won't need the backups, that'll make the file much smaller.

Got it, thanks. Definitely feels like a lineup crash, but I can't pinpoint exactly what it is. We'll have to take a closer look.

I selected 13 forwards and 7 defensemen thinking I'd have 1 extra on the bench but it seems to want me to have 4 defensive pairings so 1 of my forwards is playing D. Wasn't an issue for the earlier tournament games. This could be related but not sure why it only came up during the gold medal game. Is there any way to force only 3 defensive pairings?

The new patch seem to fix the issue and USA beat Canada 3-2 coming back from an 0-2 hole. Let's hope this happens in real life in a few months.

Turned out to be only semi-related to the lineups - it was an unusual issue where the preview screen couldn't identify the team's best player because of the regular-team roster status of everyone on one of the teams. It's probably existed for a while, it was just so rare that nobody had run into it before (or at least let us know if they had.)
