Two Draft Classes Merged Together

I'm using a burner email, so I'm probably not going to reply to any responses. I also don't intend to send game data. Hopefully this issue can be fixed in one comment.

I'm playing a real world game that I began on OOTP23, and initially couldn't get the new 2029 draft class to load in. I set the draft pool reveal at 200 days before the draft, so this was in Nov. 2028. I noticed that the next draft class did exist using the future draft pool tab, but that the game was incorrectly reading the current draft as the 2028 draft even when it should've been progressing to next year's draft.

First I tried setting the draft reveal up again (190 days before, 180 days before) to see if I could trigger it but this didn't work. So I went in the league settings and manually changed the year for the draft date from 2028 to 2029. This did what I wanted it to and made the 2029 draft class current but they were renamed the 2028 draft class, and now in Jan. 2029 for some reason I got a new draft reveal that added what was supposed to be the 2030 draft class to the 2029 draft under the banner of 2029 draft class.

So now these two draft classes are together in the draft pool under the rookie draft tab, under two separate draft years. I don't know whether the game will simply erase the 2028 (really 2029) draft class, why the game is messing up the draft reveals, and if there's any way to undo the merging of these two draft classes. I'm also not sure what playing with the amateur draft date year again would do.

Any help addressing any of these issues would be appreciated.

A few miscellaneous bugs

Just thought I'd add to this. Not sure if any of this has been addressed in OOTP24.

1) I had Shohei Ohtani on my team when he was in his early 30's, at which point he was kind of busted as a pitcher and was only really useful as a hitter. My manager was trying to start him for a few games, and when I would swap him out for another SP pregame I would no longer have the option to use a DH. Also his contract negotiations are messed up (at one point he was asking for $2mil/yr for 3yrs despite being a 40HR 4 WAR RF).

2) The options for playoffs structure are bad. I tried reverting it back to the 5 team per league pre-2022 structure, but the game didn't let me recognize the matchups on the basis of AL or NL and reset the matchups to be across leagues.
