AI Pinch Hitting for the Pitcher

I have noticed this happen several times. Sometimes, when the AI is losing late in a game, it will pinch hit for the batters in the #7 and #8 spots, but it will not pinch hit for the pitcher.

It is probably a conflict between the AI's strategy settings for managing pitchers vs. pinch hitting, but this should not happen. If you are going to start pinch hitting for the other batters, to get better matchups or bring in better hitters, it does not make sense to then leave the pitcher in the game to hit.

I can provide a saved game file if needed, but I have attached a screenshot to show the sequence of events in one example. The AI team was losing 7-3 in the bottom of the 8th inning, and it pinch hit for the #7 and #8 hitters, bringing in its two best batters from the bench. But after they registered outs, it did not pinch hit for the pitcher. I have also seen it leave the pitcher in as a batter after pinch hitting for the preceding hitters, even with runners on base.
