MLSB Looking for a Few New Managers!

Hello everyone! I am here for Major League Simulation Baseball (MLSB), and we have a few openings as we progress through the 2028 regular season. We are currently just ending April. Anyone is welcome to join! Our league began in 2021, and is based on real players and ratings from 2021 and onwards. We are in OOTP 24. We sim a week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evening at 10 PM EDT/EST during the regular season, and potentially more often during parts of the offseason. We conduct the league through StatsPlus for trades and the draft, and otherwise through Slack. (The draft is currently reaching the end of the first round, so if you join soon, you can steer the future direction of your team!)

Here are the current openings in MLSB (I can give some added context on any of these teams if you DM/email me and ask.):

Oakland Athletics (78-84 in 2027, 16-13 so far in an ubercompetitive AL West where no team is sub .500, and all others were above .500 last year)

Arizona Diamondbacks (72-90 in 2027, 9-20 so far in an NL West headlined by the Dodger juggernaut and a resurgent Giants team so far)

Chicago Cubs (86-76 in 2027, 10-18 so far in a wide open NL Central with no favorites to win)

All three teams have lots of money available, and there are still capable free agents on the market for very cheap this year.

Quick update!

The Arizona Diamondbacks have been taken and are no longer available. However, the New York Yankees (85-77 in 2027, 17-18 so far, and they have been a consistent playoff team looking for the final push) are now available!

Hello everyone, posting here as an update that the Oakland Athletics are still available and one of their former homes, the Philadelphia Phillies (who are one game out of the NLWC #3 right now) are now available. Oakland Athletics (78-84 in 2027, 53-65 so far in an ubercompetitive AL West where three teams are current above .600, and all others were above .500 last year)

Philadelphia Phillies (80-82 in 2027, 64-56 so far, solidly holding the 3rd NLWC and still within reach of the NL East crown!)

Hi again, everyone! I am here from Major League Simulation Baseball (MLSB), and we have a few openings as are just hitting the beginning of the 2028-2029 free agency. Anyone is welcome to join! Our league began in 2021, and is based on real players and ratings from 2021 and onwards. We are in OOTP 24. We sim a week every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evening at 10 PM ET during the regular season, and potentially more often during parts of the offseason (We are currently doing a week every day Monday-Saturday until Opening Day). We conduct the league through StatsPlus for trades and the draft, and otherwise through Slack.

In addition, we plan on implementing occasional audio/video chats where managers can discuss their teams and talk trash like a panel.

New GMs are also able to choose any one player's contract to get rid of completely.

Arizona Diamondbacks (62-100 in 2028, the team is looking to be just about a blank slate to be taken anywhere with a ton of free money and a recent first-round pick ready to move up and be a star. The team also has a 2nd-overall pick in the upcoming draft to further the rebuild.)

San Francisco Giants (77-85 in 2028, the team has a core put together with one massive FA leaving. Just looking for an opportunity to make it to the playoffs and fight against the Dodger menace (the commish, of course...) ruling the NL for years...)
