1983: Doomsday - United States Baseball League

I decided to begin a new save on these forums. For those who don't know, there's a scenario on the Alternate History wiki called 1983: Doomsday. The idea is that a nuclear war occurs in 1983, caused by the Soviets falsely detecting 3 nuclear bombs on their radar, causing them to lash out. This save is, of course, about baseball in the post-Doomsday USA. Suprisingly, the United States still exists, however is now mainly in the Great Plains region. The US still has baseball, and also its own league. That league being the United States Baseball League, formed by former player and manager Joe Torre. Here is a rundown of all the teams before we head to the first series of the 2023 season:

2023 RECAP:
The Montana Mountaineers defeat the Kansas Royals by sweeping them in 4 games.
Montana's 1B Jeremy Novac wins MVP, followed by 2 other Montana players in voting. Novac had 64 Home Runs and batted for a .283 Batting Average.
Best Pitcher went to Royals SP Pat Coppinger, with a 2.55 ERA

DAKOTA TWINS 2023 RECAP:
Terrible year for the Twins as they finish 67-95, dead last in the USBL.

2024 RECAP:
The Montana Mountaineers defeat the Lincoln Railsplitters in 7 games
Montana's CF Beau King wins MVP. King had 47 HRs and .334 BA
Best Pitcher went to Mariners SP Jose Rey, with a 2.45 ERA

DAKOTA TWINS 2024 RECAP:
The Dakota Twins have yet another terrible year, finishing 65-97. However, this time they were only 3rd to last, meaning they get a lower draft pick.
