Is there a program to create logos? I like to create fictional leagues and want to be able to make logos for the teams.

Checkout all of justafan's great software for logos, jerseys and caps.
They are free... so simple techno-challenged EC learned to create decent graphics for my league.

You can find them "stickeyed" at the top here on the OOTP Mods Forum.

There are 3 softwares... look at the list of Mods available.

Also check out eriqjaffe's excellent Jersey Software... you can create the new style jerseys with his... justafan's Jersey software only creates the old style jerseys.. he has never updated it for the current game... however, the old style still work in the latest version of the game OOTP24.

I just tried. My computer won't download it because it's saying the download is not secure. I even disabled my firewall. Any other ideas? What kind of a program is used to create logos? Thanks Eugene.

Not cheap, but I use a combination of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for mine. I am 55 and, while no Luddite, blessed with only moderate tech skills and went into these armed with only an online course for each and the company's own tutorials. They are not at all difficult to pick up from scratch.

I use the free program inkscape. Anything will have a learning curve, but there's nothing like making your own logos (although making them for other people can be even better. Give us some prompts )

Simul Justus et Peccator, that's a false positive. The file is absolutely safe. It just means that your anti-virus program is actually working and has not officially verified the program. You may have to create an exception so you can install and use the program after you d/l it.
GIMP and Paint.net are free graphic programs. Paint Shop Pro is a cheaper alternative to Photoshop.

I use paint.net. Very good. Even for changing formats I use it. Plus you can download extras for it.

Since I'm just starting out trying to create logos, I'd like to make a request for logos for the:

Washington Lobbyists or Washington DC Lobbyists, Brooklyn Pizza Boys with the Italian flag colors, and the Boston Whale Watchers.

Once I can get good at it, I'll give it a go and try and make some upon request.

I'm not totally sold on any of these. The first two are based on Rockwell Kent illustrations for Moby Dick (the fluke I have used a lot before, and the full-bodied one I had fooled around with). I have previously made... a bunch of those


The next is based on the city seal of Boston(ia),although it's hard to see, and the B was once worn by the Boston Bees (now Atlanta) and I think it looks cool.

I like 'em. They have an Old-Timey feel.
