Can't import John Henry Lloyd in OOTP24

I am having an issue with trying to bring John Henry LLoyd into a sim I'm doing in OOTP24, no issues in 23. Has any one had problems with this?
His ID is henry 048joh, but it will not load. I have gotten other Negro League players to import correctly. Just wondering if this is 24 problem.

His ID is henry-048joh, there is always dashes added if a players last name has less than 6 letters

That's not true - the ID he's using is correct. It's more likely an issue with the import year. I use 1906 for Pop and have no problems in doing so. You might also need the minors database option checked, from memory.

Ok, so I'm trying to bring him in a couple of seasons early. It let me do it in 23, not in 24. It has let me bring in Ty Cobb and Eddie Collins early, don't know if it is a glitch or not in that case, but it will not import Lloyd, just says it failed.

Yeah I think the DB has been tidied up for 24, so these sorts of slips are greatly reduced now.
