Likely sometime close to the start of the NHL season (shortly after would be my guess). I imagine the reveal stream happens in a couple weeks.

If I'm not mistaken, they wait until after opening night. So in this case, it wouldn't be prior to the first week of October.

Jeff said they are waiting on one more thing and then they'll reveal the game. I'm betting the game releases the week of or after the NHL season starts.

Last year they were renewing their NHL licensing rights, which delayed release by about a month from normal, but they normally release it within a week of opening night, if I recall correctly

if you look at the page title on the tab, it now says Franchise Hockey Manager 10

So it looks like they've got the website ready to go live and are waiting for something from legal or for their trailer to finish being made or something before they announce

Yes, they are working out some issues with a feature and are very close to an FHM 10 reveal. Anyone who wants updates on the progress of the game should really tune into to their weekly stream on Twitch. Jeff has made mention of the game each week for the past month.

Jeff said last night the reveal would be later this month and the release would likely be November. Apparently there are new features that have presented more of an issue than they expected.

Shame it’s not ready in time for the season. That said I am very much looking forward to when the game does come out.

Its not really a "shame" when it always comes out a week or two into the season. If you think about it, they want to ship the game with finalized rosters which nobody knows quite yet.

I agree. I typically wait for the first big patch before starting so the rosters are updated (there are always errors) and so they can fix any big issues identified after launch.

My only complaint would be if release happens in NOV, I won't start playing until mid to late DEC. On the bright side, guess it is more time for football manager.

FHM 6 - October 11th
FHM 7 - December 16th
FHM 8 - October 26th
FHM 9- November 8th

For reference, opening night in the NHL has been:
FHM 6 - 19/20 Season - October 2nd
FHM 7 - 20-21 Season - January 13th
FHM 8 - 21-22 Season - October 12th
FHM 9 - 22-23 Season - October 7th

I would assume more talk about 10 during tonight’s stream but I honestly have zero idea if they will or won’t.
