Saved Game Won't Load - "Game has been created with an earlier version of OOTP"

Hello all. I am having an issue with my saved game. I imported it from OOTP 23, but I have saved and opened it successfully multiple times. When I try to load it in game, I got that error. When I try to use the option to import a game from OOTP 23, it says that I can't opened it because it was created with OOTP -1. Which is very annoying, because I have 40+ years of league history that I would not like to lose. Backups are too far back to be of any use to me. I have tried to restore from an auto-save to no avail. Here are my league files:

Thanks, but I've already tried to restore from an auto-save. Am I just SOL? Would be very, very annoying. Dare I say infuriating.

The thread has all the things that the dev team would likely suggest. Obviously, everyone in this situation wishes they did a full backup from the File menu versus just a save. If I may ask, how long ago (from a sim year perspective) was the jump from OOTP23 made? Because the last save in 23 would be unaffected by any corruption in a 24 save. Just a thought.

Over a year. Which is really annoying because I pour a lot of time into scouting/trades.

Yes, it seems like something has corrupted at least the world and teams files. If you want to upload the autosave files, as well as incident files, in case those were saved along the way as well, we can investigate more whether it might be possible to recover.

Unfortunately, I don't know if there's anything that can be done here. Starting halfway through the players file, and for all the remaining files, the files have simply all been blanked out it seems, so there's nothing there that we could read and try to decipher.

I'm not sure what might have happened. It seems like something may have gone in and cleared the contents of the file. As mentioned, other than reimporting the previous file from 23 and starting again, or having another backup, or some other way to recover the files, I'm not aware of another way to recover the files.

Oh man, that sucks for sure. Thank you for looking though! Here's what might have happened — when I closed out of my save, first I saved it with the file>save. And then I powered off my computer.

I guess I learned my lesson. Shame that I lost a lot but hey, everything works out right?
