Help understanding finances page
Good morning,
I'm hoping someone can help me understand what I'm doing wrong (or not understanding) about the finance page. When I go to set my scouting and development budgets, I get the message that I'll be limited to half the league baseline b/c I'm over budget, but I don't understand how I'm over budget. My owner has given me a budget of $220 million, and my projected expenses are ~$198 million, so how am I over budget? I see my projected revenue is $196 million, so I am over that by 2.4 million -- is that why? I also find that the projected revenue figure usually comes in low (for instance it doesn't yet know what I'm going to do with ticket prices), but am I being held against that low projection number? What is the relationship (correlation?) to the total money available figure and whether or not I'm over budget? If I have $29.5 million of money available, it seems I could put that into development or scouting, no? But if I do, it won't work because i'll be limited to have the league's baseline. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help. |

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to increase them.

Nothing looks to be an actual financial issue here. I had this happen to me once, and I put the scouting at half budget, then was able to increase it back to what it was and increase dev budget too, I just had to go to half, hit enter and let that clear, then go do what I wanted to do.
