League Rights - European Leagues

I'm not sure if this is a bug/error, but I've a question anyway.

Standard game starting in 2022-23. There is a player Mickael Fillion (13-1-1994) who is in the Eastern Canadian Senior League.

I noticed that he appears on the Protected list of at least 2 European teams, one is Augsburger in the DEL. The other is EHC Biel in the Swiss NLA.
This looks slightly odd as according to Elite Prospects his only European
experience was in French Div 3 about 6 or 7 years previously.

Anyway it made me wonder how you view a players League Rights for
European Leagues? The player contract screen only shows North American Leagues. Is that even possible?

I'm not sure why he'd be showing league rights for those leagues, they don't technically exist - there's a setting for each league that controls whether or not they use the "rights" concept, and it's only turned on for some leagues, mainly those that use a draft. His actual database entry doesn't have rights set for any league, so it seems to have happened after the game started; I'll try to see what's going on there.

In any case, it won't affect anything in the game, those rights are non-functional since the "use rights" setting for the league is off.

I started that game just to look at the protected lists of teams in some
of the European leagues on July 1st. So whatever is happening it's during the initial game setup.

I found another similar player oddity.

Hugo Klippfors (22-5-1998). He came through development system
of Rogle BK in Sweden and wound up in Swedish lower leagues.

In FHM he appears on the protected list of the AHL's Utica Comets.
