Game will not open

Game won’t open. Says “Could not open 'cust data misc folder. Please reinstall Out of the Park”

You may have an old custom path installed here that's causing issues.

Try searching you computer for the file 'paths.cfg' (on Windows this is in the app data directory, f.e. AppData\Roaming\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 23\config) and delete that and try again.

If that still doesn't work, then you should probably just delete the whole OOTP folder in the App Data directory and then reinstall again and that should hopefully get things working.

I currently am having the same problem as op , but I am on a Mac, how would I go about this?

For mac users you can find the config folder and delete that to see if that helps get the game launching correctly.

You should find the config folder in users/YourUsername/library/containers/ootp baseball 23/data/application support/out of the park developments/ootp baseball 23/config

Try deleting that folder and let me know if that doesn't resolve your issue Arion.

Ended up reinstalling and it’s been good.

Only issue been the game has closed randomly and resets my custom batting/pitching stat rows. Any idea why?

I don't seem to have that file path. Is there another route I can take. The config folder is no longer on my Mac the best I can tell.
