Can't buy PP or enter code

From the game it will not let me buy PP when i click on what I want to buy. I used the OOTP 23 way of buying and changed ti to 24 in the url and worked but i cant enter the code anywhere in OOTP 24 to access my 175k pp

Are you on the Steam or Fastspring version of the game? There should be a button on the point-buying screen to enter in a redemption key. From what it sounds like to me from your post, you might be on the Steam version of the game.

Hello! 175,000 Perfect Points have been added to the account. It would appear there is an issue with your Steam Overlay, because you should be able to purchase these directly in the game.

Yeah i turned off the overlay but this didn't happen last year.

Yep, so in the future, if you want to purchase PP through Steam, you'll more than likely need the overlay on, or else it won't work.
