Hitting Streaks....

Has anyone else noticed this...

Anytime you get an email in your manager's email box saying Player XYZ on some random team within your league has a hitting streak going of however many games, that player's streak will absolutely without doubt come to an end on the very next game.

This doesn't happen with the players on your team.

But with the other teams in the league, if you get an email on July 17th saying Ronald Acuna has a hitting streak of 18 games --- it is a guarantee that you'll be getting a 2nd email on July 18th, telling you that the streak has come to an end. It's like that first email is cursed. It happens 100% of the time.

Here is a Texas Ranger (I only control the Cubs) that has a four news/emails before his streak is stopped. I get all of these emails in my GM email box.

Wow, thanks for posting. I'm truly blown away seeing that. I swear that everything that if I get a Brent Bourland hit-steak email on 5/17, there's guaranteed to be an email saying the streak is over on 5/18.

I'm honestly amazed seeing this. I'm going to start taking screen shots on my end too because I promise I'm not crazy on this.

The emails start at 20 games and at increments of 5 after that. At either 30 or 35 games they become daily for as long as the streak continues. Once it is at 20 games, there is an email for the streak ending. So, once you have been notified about the streak, it is pretty likely that it will end in the next few days since it is just really hard to keep a streak going.
