i paid for the PT plus, selected Astrodome as my stadium only to find out its not really the astrodome when u watch games its merely the default stadium. what a load of bs. now i gotta go an entire season with the default looking stadium. good job at never getting me to spend my money again on this crap.

The stadiums in-game are more about park factors than anything else.

If you install a historical stadium mod (like, for example https://forums.ootpdevelopments.com/...d.php?t=287547), then the game should play out in those custom historical parks when you watch the games.

thanks for responding. im playing on the iphone app. would have been nice to know it was only a park factor thing considering there is no way to check. previously there was, at the end of the season you could switch stadiums and then replay your last played game and it would be the new stadium selected. however, one of the updates put a stop to that. what is going to happen when my PT plus runs out in the middle of the season? i cant change stadiums in the middle of the season so im gonna assume they arent gonna yank the stadium out from under me in the middle of the season right?

Correct, you'll keep the park to the end of the season of your PT+ runs out midweek.

I made another thread but perhaps you can help me here. How can I tell whether or not a stadium will display the visuals or is just for ballpark factors? I need to know pretty soon before the season starts so hopefully you see this in time. For instance is it only the 32 current ball parks that have visuals? That would probably be the simplest way to narrow it down if that is indeed the case

It's just for ballpark factors, and I believe it's the current 32 parks plus the KBO stadiums that have visuals already in the game. I'm not 100% sure if you download a stadium mod that it would show up in-game, but it's worth a try.
