Question on an initial draft of mare than 50 rounds
OK, I may be missing something obvious or perhaps there is a mod available that can help me.
I play solo and recently DL'd Rocco's roster set. I released all the players and try to run an initial draft of >50 in a "Standard League" and the game crashes. At first I tried it after unzipping Rocco's into my "Create" folder. Then I did a full uninstall/reinstall and tried doing the same thing with the original "Create" folder. It crashed as well. Is there no way to run an initial draft >50 rounds in a "Standard League"? If not, is there a mod available that would allow me to do so? |

What version of OOTP are you using? The FIBB online league started with Rocco's and we did a 60 round dispersal draft with no problems. I created a new league, did not replace the create league. I believe we were probably 5.12 at the time.

I'm using the latest patch.
Is the fact that I'm doing it as a "Standard League" the problem? Here is what I did: Unzip Rocco's to Create folder Start new Standard League w/ initial draft Deleted and shuffled some teams using the Edit League Structure Signed coaches Began draft (tried different #s of rounds >50) Each time, the draft failed. Either I got the XP error dialog box pop up or the draft hung up. So I went back and did a clean install and tried starting a Standard League without Rocco's, did all the same things and stll had the same problem. I haven't played OOTP5 for that long, although I have played OOTP3 and OOTP4 quite a bit. Perhaps the max on draft rounds in a Standard League is 50? Maybe I can only do what I want in a Custom League but it was getting late and I didn't have time last night. |

Just do the draft for 50 rounds...it is not like there are any good players by round 50 anyway. Then you can always go into Free Agency and sign guys to whichever teams you want.
Problem solved!

I've done drafts of over 90 rounds with no prob, but that was a fictional league. That may of have something to do with it.
