NHL drafted players return to wrong teams

Don´t know if this was reported before:

NHL drafted players return to wrong team if player get Free Agent in his Draft Year and signs with another team between Draft and the day he gets send back.

This Player played for Djurgardens IF, went to Free Agency, got drafted, signed contract with Linköping, sent back to Djurgardens.

That'll happen if the player hasn't played any games for his new team in Europe. None of the European leagues use league rights (since it essentially requires that a draft exist), so the game determines which team to return the player to by checking the last team he played for (or its parent.)

Can we change the logic and check for the latest signed contract with instead of last game played for?
