Timeframe filters don't work with defensive stats

I know it's probably not a bug because it's been like this since I can remember but I really wish defensive stats could be filtered by timeframe like you can do with batting and pitching stats.

This. Very unfortunate not to be able to have access to or be able to search last years defensive stats unless you are on an individual players career defensive stat page.

Indeed, this is especially frustrating in spring training, where there seems to be no way at all to see defensive stats.
