Baseball Card Year Bug

I'm currently simming in the year 2014. In my BBcard folder I have a default_2014.xml baseball card template. However, the game consistently skips that and just uses the first template in the file structure.

However, if I change it to default_2013.xml, it uses that as the default.

It's like the year is stuck in 2013. But in game settings historical year is set to 2014 and the game date is March 2014.

I know I'm behind the times playing OOTP23, but if there's help to be had, I'd appreciate it!

I've also tried submitting my .dat files per the forum instructions, but the link doesn't open any page or dialogue for me, so I'm stuck.

Has the 2014 season started? Not sure if that matters but it might be useful to know if the issue remains after opening day.
