post IIHF crash

i'm having another issue with my season game save related to the IIHF tournament (again). I've been simming all of the Team USA IIHF tournament games to get me to the next date in the schedule. Team USA roster seems to be ok, 3 goalies, 8 dmen, 12 forwards, don't see any injuries. The lines are filled out (using asst coach auto assign).
After I sim'd the last Team USA game, eliminating them from IIHF, when I select either "Continue" or just try to sim to the next date in the schedule (so I can continue the NHL playoffs), the game crashes.

not sure what happened here, but I was able to move to the next NHL schedule games by doing the following:

(1) with game closed, restored the save files from the rs_two folder
(2) started game, chose continue to load save
(3) sim'd Team USA game
(4) selected continue, and immediately pressed ESC, game sim'd up to the next date, just before simming the NHL playoff game

I was then able to sim the NHL playoff game (DAL/VGK) and move to the next NHL scheduled date

I just hope this doesn't reoccur, because I couldn't find any issue with the rosters. When I started the game and chose load save, the same would crash upon simming the schedule

my same game save is back to crashing, this time right after the IIHF games have completed. I've uploaded nhl-may30.zip to the ftp site for Jeff to take a look. very frustrating, i'm tried all the previous fixes such as restoring from rs_one and rs_two

Something's wrong with the INT status of the players on the US team, they're not releasing properly after the tournament ends, and that's likely causing the crash on June 30. We'll have to take a closer look at what's going on there, but I think it'll be fixable.
