From draft to top prospects

I held my annual draft 2 days ago. As of now, none of the recently drafted players are showing up on the league top 100 prospects, or any team top 30. League page:

I’m not sure this is a bug, or if there is some time that has to pass before they are considered on these lists. In the past I thought they were added as soon as the draft was finished. If this is not a bug, can you tell me how long before the new players will be considered for the prospect lists?

Are all the top picks signed within two days? They aren't part of an organization if drafted, only after they sign. Only after they are signed will they be eligible for the list - and the top 100 list must be dynamic. If set to update only periodically throughout the year (or Jan 1st only - I forget the exact setting), you need to wait. On the team front office page, you can see the rankings beyond the top 100 if you want to see where some are currently.

I have it set so that players sign automatically. Some have even played their first pro game for the drafting team. I’ll check the settings, but pretty sure I’ve had the list set to update dynamic.

Hmmmm… check the front office page, lower left on that or one of those Front Office pages and it will show their ranking past 100. See where they are. Maybe scout them? If the top picks are as good as you imply (so not an oddly low rated class), I can’t think of another reason for them to necessarily be excluded.

For some reason, the game is not recognizing the recently drafted as prospects. For example, here is the #1 overall pick by Orlando:

And this guy is the #26 prospect in the Orlando system:

No question the guy they just picked is a lot better. They aren’t showing up lower on the prospect lists, they just aren’t even being considered. I think this is a bug.

Even if the list is set as dynamic, I believe you need to hit the 'regenerate list' button to have a new list created each time you go to that screen.

Thanks, I’ll try that but not sure exactly what screen to go to. How do I regenerate the list?

Bumping. Can anyone tell me where to go to find ‘regenerate list’ button? I don’t see anything like that on the top prospect page.

I don't know if this was what was intended by the comment as I am also not aware of a "regenerate list" function that is exclusively for prospects, but if you are on Dynamic for the prospect list to update, perhaps if you went to Game Settings>Global Settings and in the upper left, hit "Run Full Re-Scouting", I'd think the Top XXX lists on the Prospect Pipeline pages would update. Other lists will update too though like the Top 3B, Top 20 Pitchers and Batters, Top whatever...

Sean, I know you figured it out a different way. But on the prospect pipeline page there is a recalculate list button towards the top right that would accomplish what you were looking for. Just an fyi for the future!

Yeah, I believe that's the button Lukas was mentioning.

With it set to dynamic, I believe it will update the top prospects list every week on Monday.
