I am sick of looking for players

I have decided that most decent leagues are stable. However, there are a couple of teams that just seem to go thru owners. So, I am tired to announce that Playball requires an owner for the Pirates.

The Pirates have historically been a terribly managed team and now this could be your opportunity to make better them. You couldn't make them worse.

Playball is an historical league in the offseason heading into 1957 (our 4th season of operation).

It costs $3 a year to be in this league and what that gets you is the opportunity to compete for one of the most prized possesions in all of online league simdom, the "Coveted Cooley Cap".

Visit the site, see a cap or two, check out the excuses for ownership and the pitifulness of the Pirates. Then drop me an email at mking@tyler.net begging me to let you in. I assure you, I am not picky.

Don't let the sour demeanor deter you. Its a lot of fun. I just joined last year and beat the Commish's stacked team to take the Cooley Cap in 1956!

I can't wait until I get to look for the next new owner. The only thing I haven't decided is whether looking for owners or holding the amateur draft is more fun.
