Historical coaches - replay

Just wondering

Are their real coaches available during a historical replay

If started with the 1917, do coaches show up every year they do
if wanted to hire them during the course of the replay decade by decade

example

Can i hire don cherry as a coach during the time he was a coach in
the nhl

Yes, the real coaches and GM's are there. Working on adding more real staff as well.

i am replaying the nhl from the beginning using a multiplayer league to control all the coaches, so i can set all the lines and make trades as they happen in real life

using don cherry as an example, is their a quick way i can copy or paste
don cherry ratings to the coach who took over Boston and use the same
ratings as don cherry (or do i have to manually edit boston current check to
don cherry ratings) to make that coach as the same coach in real life
