The Stingers have been plagued with injuries this season. Despite this, we sit comfortably in WHA division in second place.

Made a small trade with the Canadiens. Thommy Abrahamsson was a solid defender for us for almost 2 years but the Habs offered up Pat Hughes a young winger and we are trying to build a younger team around our core of Stoughton and Liut.

Huge trade between the Nordiques and the Jets. This marks the end of the Hot Line of Bobby Hull, Hedberg, and Nilsson for the Jets but they get a much younger and equally skilled Marc Tardif the Nordiques also get all star Barry Long as a throw in.

March 23rd, Bobby Hull scored his 700th NHL goal vs the Edmonton Oilers in a 5-1 win
Ended the season strong taking second place in the WHA division, we will rematch against the Winnipeg Jets in the first round who are looking to take revenge from last year.

Made somewhat of a big trade with the Canadiens, The Stingers currently lack center depth and have an abundance of wingers so we shipped off longtime player Rick Dudley for the young center Doug Risebrough. This marks the end of the "LSD" line with Blaine Stoughton and Rich LeDuc but was a necessary move to get younger.

Rough month for the Stingers, the 9-1 loss to the Oilers hurts the most as they are currently the second-worst team in the league, hope we can turn it around.
