We no longer have standalone Linux versions. The Linux version is available through Steam.

I had a bad feeling from the beginning when I saw the company had been bought (Another Linux user). No info on new features either.

Something's rotten in Denmark. I love that Markus and the other developers worked so hard to make v21 so great, but I really fear the new ownership plans to flush that all down the toilet with v22

I want to buy licence for OOTP21. It seems to be impossible from the P.I.S.D. site.
Is it only temporary ?
Or do I need to install Steam for Linux ?

We aren't able to sell through the PISD store any more, we only sell the Linux version of the game through Steam now.

I'm sorry, I never used Steam. In fact OOTP is the only game I play. True story

I had downloaded and unzipped all the files (ootp21.sh, etc...)
My question is : do I need to install something else from Steam or can I just buy a linux licence and run the already installed files ?

You would need to install the Steam client (which you get by downloading from their site, here), create a Steam account and then buy the game when logged into the account on the Steam client. Then you play the game through the Steam client.

It sounds complicated, but in actual fact it's pretty simple once you get things set up.

As a Linux user, I've come to love Steam. Even games without official Linux support can run with Proton (assuming your graphics card can handle it). Steam and Nvidia Geforce actually make it possible to forget Windows all together as a gaming platform.

I buy OOTP24. It crashes. A ticket is opened. Hoping it will be fixed.
Meanwhile, I reinstall OOTP17. Played a few days, testing a new fictional league.
As always with Linux, I regularly need to re-enter license code. Fine. But now, brand new problem : the serial number I used so many years is told incorrect. I promise I carefully write it down. Why OOTP17 don't accept this serial anymoye ? I'm becoming crazy !
