Re-order playoffs after 1st round

Any pros or cons in using the fixed or reorder playoff options, if using custom playoffs. 40 team league, 4 divisions of 5 teams. 4 division winners, and 5 WC on each side. Division winners seeded by winning %, and then WC teams. 8th and 9th seeds play a 1 game play in game. Should I reseed after each round?

Thoughts appreciated

Reseeding means the highest ranked team will always play the lowest. Without reseeding, that may not happen.

For example, a standard arrangement with fixed brackets (i.e. no reseeding):

1 v 8
4 v 5

2 v 7
3 v 6

If the higher seeds win, then the second round has 1 v 4 and 2 v 3. But if there are upsets, the second round could have 1 v 4 and 2 v 6 if there is no reseeding.

Whether that is acceptable or not is a matter of personal preference.
