Starting balances after moving from 23 to 24

After importing from 23 to 24 I noticed the starting balances for the previous years aren't being included in the final balance of the previous year, as a concecuence the starting balances of current year are different to what it would have looked in 23. Here is a comp:

As you can see the starting balance for 1991 for this team in 24 is -410,963 even when this team had profit last season. But if we add 788,963 (1990 starting balance) to that number we get 378k, the exact ammount 23 shows as starting balance in 1991.

Is this something we need to manually fix if we want correct numbers? Can someone share some light of what the problem is so if we needed to manually adjust numbers we can do it fairly for all teams? This is an online league.
