Union of European Baseball Associations
In celebration of the first year of my European super scenario (link), I'm going to post all of my logos for the save.
Each logo has been modified by me to fit the world, whether that required just changing "foot" to "base," vectorizing the logo so I could get it in the scale and colors I wanted, or a wholesale change to the logo design (looking at you, Sparta Rotterdam), so I hope you all enjoy my work. I know the thread is buried in last year's game's subforum now, but I hope you'll stop by and read about the chase for European glory! |

UEBA - England
The "home of baseball in Europe", England boasts the biggest league pyramid and highest level of competition (the Germans, Italians, and Spanish would disagree) in Europe.
This year's European Champions are England and the Champions League Winners are English club, Manchester United. ![]() ![]()

UEBA - Germany
Although long-dominated by Bayern Munich, Germany has a thriving fan culture, a strong national team, and remains one at the top of elite baseball in Europe.

UEBA - Spain
Spain is home to perhaps the biggest rivalry in the sport: El Classico, the rivalry between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Spain is known for its flashy, speedy play and outsized personalities.

UEBA - Italy
There's always drama in the Italian league. Sometimes it's on the field thanks to big rivalries, like between Milan and Inter, or Juventus and Inter, or Napoli and Juventus (no one likes anyone, really)... and sometimes it's off the field, with superstar personalities or financial irregularities.

UEBA - France
France has a chip on its shoulder, call it Gallic pride, but they've long been viewed as the 5th of the "Big five leagues." My game starts just before IRL PSG blew up into an aspiring European power, so you're just as likely to see Lyon, Marseille, or Lille in Europe as PSG. (Those particular teams' logos are also happen to have nothing about soccer on them, so that made making them easy!)

UEBA - Portugal & Netherlands
Two baseball crazy countries who produce plenty of stars but don't quite have the financial muscle to beat the big boys. Nevertheless, teams like Ajax of Amsterdam and Porto tend to make frequent appearances in European contests with both Ajax and Benfica going through to the Champions League knockout round this season.

UEBA - Russia & Belgium
Two countries that don't usually go together in most contexts, Russia and Belgium are middle powers in the baseball landscape. Powerhouse clubs like Antwerp or CSKA Moscow used to be near the pinnacle of European competition, but now don't stand much chance against the big clubs of the big five.

UEBA - Scotland & Austria
Scotland used to be a baseball titan with clubs like Celtic, Rangers, and Aberdeen drawing top talent from across the globe. The league has fallen on hard times lately but still has iconic clubs of years past. Austria has always been the little brother to Germany and Italy next door, but rising stars Salzburg may make an impact on the European game.

UEBA - Europa League
The rest of Europe is filled with both sleeping giants like Turkey's Besiktas, Czech Republic's Slavia Prague, Denmark's Copenhagen, and Serbia's Red Star Belgrade, and tiny dreamer clubs like Iceland's HR or Liechtenstein's Vaduz. All of these teams battle it out in the Europa League (and its feeder league, the Conference League). The result is an absolute mishmash of great matchups between far-flung teams from Kazakhstan to the Faroe Islands, and from Israel to Ireland.

UEBA - Tournaments & Nations
My game also has many tournaments every season. The big five leagues each have a preseason knockout cup tournament, while the UEBA Champions League begins in mid-July each summer and runs through November. Meanwhile, the FIBA (Federation of International Baseball Associations) World Cup happens every four years with the UEBA European Championships (The Euros) staggered by two years.
Also included here are national team logos from teams that played in the 2012 Euros. So it's by no means exhaustive, since the tournament is not exhaustive of every country in Europe. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Logos are now uploaded! A couple of additions based on some gaps in the timeline:
England's Walsall and Huddersfield Town Portugal's Pacos de Ferriera Hope you all enjoy them. Important note: In my save game, my logos and uniforms are not automatically updating annually, so if you dig through these folders and find out why that's the case (usually it's due to naming problems), please let me know! |
