How to set DSL to allow more nationalities?

I've been messing with the league settings, but in real life players who aren't from the US/Canada are allowed to play in the DSL, why does OOTP only allow Dominican players?

It doesn't does it? Dominican qualified region is most of the world. Try putting a Frenchman in the DSL, it should work.

no, all other nationalities get pushed to my FCL team.

I dunno what to tell you, I have non-dominicans in my DSL. You must have screwed something up messing with the league settings.

Can you take a screenshot of your league&teams settings and rules page. With these it would show what needs to be done to assist you.

Yes here they go. When I initially started the game the region was set to US east coast or something like that which booted out all foreigners and only left a few US players in the league. Then I changed that setting to No region specified and I was able to get the Dominican players back in but that's it.

I think the issue is that you have it limited to "No foreigners allowed" and then the limit is based on league nationality, which would limit it to Dominicans (since the league is based in the DR).

I don't have the game in front of me but I think one of the regions is something like "DSL Nations" (or something like that). Try changing the region to that, and see if the limit option to league nationality has a regional option instead (maybe that doesn't have to be changed once you change your region)

It is not the no foreigners allowed issue. You want to keep that on as that will just act as any other minor league if removed. For most realistic option is ensuring the region is DSL Nations as mentioned.

They've always been editable, if you get into the files. I think Lukas is referring to an in-game feature
