I tried the "Frogs" on the bottom, that was my preference too but you run out of room fast at the bottom of the shields. I might try it on the fatter shield shape.

There's just something good about circle badges. Here is the updated badge idea (I don't love it, but wanted to try it) and the circle with a lighter offset on the frog (which was a good idea)

Well, I am very pleased with both of the primary logos... got some fine secondary logos, too.
Kevin, I am overjoyed with the Fairfax Frogs. Please note that I will not put the new logos in until the new season in the IPA... that will be the 2078 season... I want the old logos to be used for the 2077 season, which I will complete pretty soon. |

Kevin, up next is the Ozarka Naturals... that's a tough nickname... I will post the old logo done by Le Grande Orange 15-20 years ago using the Ozarka bottled water logo... I used it for years and years... a couple of years ago txranger and No Pepper helped with some IPA updates... maybe 10-12 teams... I think No Pepper did my current Ozarka primary and secondary logos... it is really done well, but I would like to see what you can create.
Teflon Skies created the beautiful stadium... it took him about 100 hours to do a stadium... he did 15-20 magnificent stadiums .. that was 15 years ago at least. Ozarka Naturals Team Colors: Light Blue: (21, 163, 237) Dark Blue: (0, 0 , 128) OZARKA NATURALS Owner: J. R. Ewing GM: Joe Mac Carney Manager: Frank Kiffen Ozarka, a Silver Mountains resort town of 73,000, is located in south central Tycobbia and near the Caledonia River, which flows southward through Hillsboro, then westward and comes to an end at Turon on the southwest coast. Nestled among scenic forests and outdoor hot springs, Ozarka is host to tourists who come for snow skiing during the winter and boating, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking and hunting the rest of the year. Big time developers have made this a mecca for the rich and famous with luxury hotels and nightclubs that attend to every possible need: hot spring spas and bathhouses, superstar entertainers, magnificent golf courses, gourmet food, art galleries and gift shops. Ozarka is a retirement center, too. It is also home to the Ozarka Naturals. J. R. Ewing’s father, Jock Ewing, got tired of the incessant sibling quarrels over the operation of the family-owned Waleska Westerners in the Ruthlandian Amateur Association, so he bought the battling brothers and club vice-presidents, J. R. and Bobby, their own teams in the IPA. Bobby owns the South Fork Stallions and J. R. has Ozarka, where he is a prime real estate developer. Bobby named his brand new stadium after his dad. Not to be outdone, J. R. named his brand new stadium after his mom, Miss Ellie. So the sibling rivalry continues on and off the field. Ellie Ewing Stadium is one of the few parks in baseball that still has a live organ player at each game, which adds a nice nostalgic touch, especially during the seventh inning stretch. Marston, Kenwood and Hillsboro are the other teams that feature a live organist. And at the concessions stands is a succulent gourmet buffet fit for the rich and famous. You will also find all of the traditional baseball fare at a Naturals game. J. R. Ewing spares no expense when it comes to impressing people and paying his ballplayers. He likes to get his way. He even got the all-time winningest manager in company league history to come out of retirement and take over his team. Joe Mac Carney is now the GM of the Naturals. And he is very well paid, too. The Nats' manager is Frank Kiffen, who was a fine catcher for Ozarka from 2015 to 2021. Kiffen hit .310 during his IPA career. Ellie Ewing Stadium (2001) Capacity: 11,750 Dimensions: LF Line 350 LF 370 LCF 390 CF 375 RCF 390 RF 370 RF Line 350 Last edited by Eugene Church; 05-01-2023 at 01:42 PM. |

I am very pleased with the current jerseys and caps... but if some of you talented guys want to show your stuff... have at it... would love to see some news ones... yep, EC is always overjoyed to get an alternate set of jerseys and caps.
Le Grande Orange did the first one... we had no secondary logos way back then... I did the second primary logo shown... it's just plain and blah... but the Northwest Arkansas Naturals image is done well. No Pepper did a fine job with the primary and secondary with the letter N... they really look good on the game screens... great contrast... look great at 50 pixels. Here is a bigger size of the Northwest Arkansas Naturals primary logo...actually it is too busy to show up well in OOTP... simple logos show up better, but they are not as pretty at 300 x 300 pixels.
My wife and I went to a game in Springdale...it's in the Ozarks and is really a nice town with an excellent ballpark... we like minor leagues better than the MLB games... there are no bad seats at a minor league stadiums. My only complaint is the the minor league teams are just to develop players for the MLB teams... the teams are not trying to win the pennant... that was not the way it was back in my days... the teams really competed back in the 1950s... teams were a mixture of minor league veterans... sometimes former major leaguers and up-and-coming rookies... it was great back then. Sadly, those days are gone forever. Just like real country music is gone forever... country radio is not country anymore at all... just so-so pop and so-so rock music... no country twangs anymore either. Sorry, Jason Aldean, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Darius Rucker, Kane Brown, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and Eric Church will never never ever fill the shoes of George Jones, Conway Twitty, George Strait, Merle Haggard and Willie Nelson. Cody Johnson is the only real country singer these days... Cody is the real thing... Blake Shelton used to be country, but he has to go modern to get airplay... so Shelton is "watered-down country" these days and not as good as he was when country radio played real country music.... come on, country radio... bring back steel guitars and fiddles again. Sorry for the digression, Kevin.... I really liked the way life was... I was a country DJ for 32 years... I would be ashamed to have to play all of the "so-called" country music of today. Hope you get back into logos... looking forward to that... you be sure to let me know... as Kevin knows, I can keep you busy. For you folks that don't know Le Grande Orange... he is an expert in schedules, both MLB and minor leagues... he has been on the Beta Team for years and years... if we had an OOTP Hall of Fame, Le Grande Orange would make it the first year. I've downloaded a bunch of real-world logos to use as reference. Now I just have to find a way to actually work on this . . . it's been awhile so I'm definitely rusty. Thanks for the kind words. I took a four-year sabbatical from all things OOTP, but recently returned albeit in a smaller way. |

Here are a couple of ideas for Ozarka. I was trying to give it a subtle splash of color without taking away from the blue on blue palette.I really wanted to make the lightning bolt "N" all yellow but resisted, I gave it a slight yellow to help it stand out a bit on the circle badge.
I'm heading out of town for the weekend today so I'll revise anything you want when I get back

An absolutely wonderful job, Kevin.
![]() Love the mountains... really nice... it will be tough to choose between all the choices you gave us... all of them are winners. Glad you added the touch of yellow... it needed it. Have good time this weekend. I have a few minor revisions when you get back. Last edited by Eugene Church; 05-04-2023 at 09:10 PM. |

I love the circular logo for the primary. The crest is really cool too. I'm going to use the O with the curvy lines as the secondary logo.
