Is there a good reason for this, charity

My team recently started a charity at a player's behest. And my fan loyalty fell 20 points. I am surprised that this has not been fixed, or is this the correct behavior?

There's an old thread about this where it was explained fan interest drops to compensate for some other advantage of the charity. At least that's the way I remember it. Could be wrong.

I always do the charity thingy. However, I never thought to see what effect it has. Thanks for posting that.

I also get the so and so player went to India to see a guru and it always fails. I just wish once that would work lol.

This one was pretty controversial back in the day. I never knew if they changed the results of it, so nowadays whenever it pops up I always pick "do nothing" or whatever the response is. I'm not taking the drop in market size/fan interest for no reason.

Also, Mike Trout came to me as the player in one scenario. Guy is on a long-term deal, so I don't have to worry about any loyalty effects (if that is even a consequence of it, I still have no idea what it all does).

I always did it, thought it would bring goodwill with the player who was running it. Usually a core player, so keeping him happy seemed important.
