Retire According to History Bug

I created a thread about the problem in the general section yesterday, but it's probably more a bug than something I don't do correctly.

To resume so it will make sense...

1. I create an historical league starting in 1871,
2. some of the process involve the advanced mode since I play with real trade, injury and lineup which is impossible to set after the league creation,
3. the "retire players according to history" and "players miss seasons according to history" are selected in the historical section,
4. when everything is done the league is created,
5. the problems shown up

The "retire players according to history" and "players miss seasons according to history" are greyed out and unselectable in the game historical section. At the end of the season the players who retired in real life unretire and become free agent (I guess the players will stay unsigned since I play with real transaction but it's annoying).

The thing is that it never happened before OOTP23 last year (and I almost feel like it wasn't there at first in last year game).

That would be super nice if someone could check it (not hard to reproduce since it happens every time) and try to fix this in a future patch.

OK it looks like the game acts differently than the previous versions were... the players retire at the end of a season, became free agent and retire for real the next year. Sound complicated for nothing to me, why the extra free agent step?
