Runner at 1st Base Disappears
I've had this exact same scenario happen twice:
Runner on 2nd, nobody out. Ball is hit to the shortstop and the lead runner is thrown out trying to advance to 3rd. Both runners disappear (i.e. bases empty next at bat), but there's only 1 out. It's as if the runner that should have reached by fielder's choice just disappears for no reason. Last edited by grmagne; 04-26-2023 at 08:24 PM. |

We've seen a few reports of this still happening, but have not been able to recreate this in our testing so far.
Does changing your 3d settings affect this at all? For example, switching to the non-animated audience models.

OK, I'll give it a try, but it's such a rare scenario that it doesn't come up often.

This almost always happens when a grounder is hit with a runner on second and the throw goes to third for the out. The runner that gets to first disappears.
