question about fictional League (MLB)

I am trying to do a fictional MLB with fake players so I am doing a custom game with a fictional league setup but modeling it after the real MLB. However, when I bring in the leagues (that include the minor leagues), it doesn't distinguish the single A leagues as anything other than just single A. So, there is no distinction between single A and High A+. Even when I go into the game and look at the level of players in the leagues, it is essentially like having six single A leagues, rather than like 3 A leagues and 3 A+ leagues like in real life.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? I would like to make my "fictional" MLB league are real as possible, so I would want the distinction between High A and low A to exist.

You could turn on commissioner mode and edit the names of the leagues to whatever you want. Edit: I totally only read the first part. You can go into league settings and set the player creation modifiers. Might help.

the player creation modifiers are exactly what you need to do. Just make it a tick lower and the AI will know one is A and the other is A+

You are talking about the Sabermetric PCM's, not the traditional PCM's, right? Because according to the manual, traditional PCM's affect the Major league and all affiliated leagues below it, while Sabermetric are used for specific leagues.

You probably want to give the High A league a higher reputation than the Low A league as well. Not for player creation purposes, but for the future behavior of roster management in the leagues.

I have looked at a normal MLB start and in my game, it looks like that the MLB has 10 reputation, and all of the minor leagues (from triple A to rookie ball) have 0 reputation. So, I don't think that would affect anything in how the AI promotes players in a normal MLB game, right?

Not trying to be a know it all here and if you have already tried this, please forgive me. When you go to the create fictional league menu, on the page you select how many teams are in your league, if you look to the right side of the screen, the option will be there to use the MLB template to create your league. If you choose the MLB option, you will get all the real mlb teams, minor league teams etc, and all the players will be fictional.
