Historical Exhibitions

When playing a historical exhibition, how can I get the proper era ballparks and team uniforms to show up? Thanks for any info

You need to install all the ballparks and uniforms in the correct folders in advance. Then, when you launch OOTP and create a new exhibition, everything should be loaded correctly. I always download and install the mods as standalone files, and I don't use Steam. You can find instructions on how and where to install all the ballparks and uniforms in the appropriate threads in the mods forums.

Well, back to the drawing board. Its so fustrating that a simple historical exhibition, stadium options can't be set up in the game options. Sure seems like it should be simple enough. UGH!

If you're using Steam, you open the Steam workshop via the OOTP splash screen menu, subscribe to the uniform mod and also subscribe to the ballparks mod. That should auto begin a download process.

Then when it's completed, go back into OOTP and click on the steam workshop and it should show the 2 mods you're subscribed to, you can then just click to install them.

You'll need to start a new save for it to take effect IIRC, but that's the gist of it I believe.

Thank You, I am not on Steam, maybe next year I will consider as it sure seems a lot easier to set up mods. Thanks again, I appreciate your help.

I've been trying to figure out how to do that for years.
Couldn't make it work.

What worked for me was I opened the models folder and dragged all of its contents into the ballparks folder. Its really nice now to have the retro stadiums when creating exhibitions. I still can't figure out how to get team jerseys to display when playing a game, missing a step. Hope this helps
