Union League Baseball Openings for 2045

The ULB is an OOTP24 Online League that started in 1995, and has now reached the 2044/45 Offseason.
We will sim four times per week between Opening Day and the Postseason in game (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). Offseason will be simulated 6 days a week, with Monday an off day.
Each regular season sim will span Friday-Friday on the game calendar. Offseason will vary from 4 days to 14 later in the offseason if most FA have signed.

Please respect everyone. Consistent misconduct will result in ramifications/expulsion.

Players must have received arbitration at least one time before receiving a multi year extension.

TRADES

The commissioners reserve the right to put a 24 hour hold on any trades deemed poor for league health, however, we will very rarely veto any trades.

OPEN TEAMS:

Kansas City Raptors (64-98)
The Raptors have a large commitment to 5 players (Approx 185,000,000) that will likely hamstring them for the next two seasons. While the players signed aren't bad, the rest of the team is not up to par in tough division. The Raptors are ranked 6th in the Annual Top Systems, and have some new blood ready to go. They will need to jettison or hope that one of more of the overpaid stars can either be traded or opt out of their remaining contracts.

Charlotte Eagles (94-68)
The Eagles are just a year removed from winning the Union Cup, and while their top offense got bounced by the top Pitching Staff of St. Paul in the Clutch Cup, they remain one of the top offenses in the ULB. The rotation could use a 2nd starter to take a bit of pressure off ace Clement Bellarmine. This is a team built to win NOW.

San Juan Storm (100-62)
The Storm are fresh off an appearance in the Union Cup, though they fell to the Las Vegas Diamondbacks 5 games to 2. San Juan has a powerhouse of an offense and pitching that will get the job done as well. This is a team built to win now around a core of talented players, as well as some highly paid mercenaries. A fun team in a very competitive division.
