Waive/Designate Players for Assignment

In years past when you waived and designated a player for assignment that player would appear on waivers and designated for assignment.

After three days, if the player cleared waivers you then had the option to return that player to the minors. You could then go to your waiver screen, and drag the player to the bottom of the screen to remove them.

Now I can move the player from designated from assignment when they clear waivers and place the player in the minors. However, I am unable to drag the player to clean up the waiver screen. When I drag the player to the bottom of the screen he still remains on the waivers screen and it even says this player is not on waivers.

So I now have players who have cleared waivers, are playing in the minors yet there names appear on my organizational overview waiver list stating "cleared waivers"

Am I missin something?

Related but different issue for me. When I DFA someone, that process finishes as expected, and I go to move them to the farm, only to get a Waiver error. Ok, throw him on Waivers, no big deal.

But I still have to do something with him on the DFA screen. I can't Farm him because of waivers. I don't want to waste a Pro spot on him because that's dumb. Obviously if a player is DFA, the intent is to Farm him. If Waivers is going to block this process, why wouldn't that be part of the DFA process right from the start. I can't just leave him on the DFA screen because the game won't allow me to proceed.

Basically I have to either Pro the guy for 3 days until the waiver process concludes (after 7 days of DFA), or I have to release him outright with the financial penalty that imposes.

Just a really bad QoL experience.

UPDATE - I can't even Pro the guy! It just says he has to clear Waivers first! So it's a circular failure of:
"The player is designated for Assignment, he cannot be removed from waivers directly. Please wait until the player clears waivers and then drag & drop him from the DFA box to the destination team or use the right-click menu and use the demote/assign functions in the transactions sub menu."

Can't finish DFA process without waivers completing
Can't move him to Pro without waivers comleting
Can't move/remove him from waivers while on DFA

Brutal.

There is definitely a bug with the DFA. I have guys that I trade for and some on rehab assignment that get stuck there. I'll move them to a farm one day, play one day, and they're back in the DFA tab. Hoping for a patch soon
