Fictional League Tournament

I have a fictional league setup with a minor league farm league, a farm league for the farm league, 3 junior leagues based in North America, Europe and Asia. I also have one unaffiliated professional league.

I tried to set up a tournament for the top couple teams from each league. Unfortunately I didn't notice that it only contained the top level and the 3 juniors, resulting in a tournament where 4 professional teams beat up on junior teams for 4 games and then play each other. So I have 2 questions.

First, how do I get the minor teams and the independent teams into the tournament?

Second, how do I get rid of the first tournament?

My understanding is that you cannot, for both questions. Teams labelled as farm teams cannot be added (juniors remain because they are not, strictly speaking, farm teams), and tournaments, once created, remain. At least that's my understanding.
