Left Fielder - Yellow Shoes
Wondering if others are seeing this? I am often seeing the left fielder in my 3d game wearing yellow shoes when fielding but wears his assigned shoe color when batting. I can't seem to find any pattern to it but it doesn't seem to be the angle as it looks yellow no matter which way he turns.

Once in a while I see the pitcher with the same shoe color as the offensive teams uniform.

WHAT? You mean you seeing yellow shoes on LF but I don't get Yoan Moncada in his green shoes? Not Fair LOL I'm have game jitter problems but seems like people can't read my writing. I had a nice opposing team bunt roll to 3rd base dugout & Pitcher did like Flash Gordon to retrieve ball but was late with throw. Eloy Jimenez ran through the Astros box seat walls to retrieve ball out the other end. Didn't have any issues until this last 52 version released |

Reed, that's interesting. The team I was playing does have yellow as a secondary color. Makes me wonder if the home team is using the road color left fielder's shoe color or if something is backward. I think I noticed it before on the defensive 3b too but other positions have no problem (e.g. pitcher, 1b).

Bunktown, I too was having game jitter issues until I changed "Max. Frames Per Second" under 3d Settings to be "No Limitation" or 120. Before that, it seemed I couldn't see the windup of the pitch as it somehow was chopping it. Not sure if that would help.

I know the OP said he didn't notice it, but for anyone else seeing this, does there seem to be any sort of pattern to when you notice the mixed up shoes?
Does it happen more in specific stadiums, only happen to the home team or away team or whatever?

For me I just play out away games. I play as GM and just watch the game. The home team when the play defense is when I notice it. Mostly the pitcher and a couple other plays. Hope that helps some.

Lukas, next time it happens I'll make a closer note of exactly what the situation is but I've seen it both on my own LF and my 3B. Sometimes it affects the batter too but strangely I've noticed it happening mostly or entirely only with the LF or 3B. For sure, I've noticed it when I am the home team and my LF or 3B adopts the visiting team shoe colors. I also had a recent road game where the 3B changed shoes to red for his 1st AB (opposing team did have red as a secondary color but not sure if it was the regular red shoes or opposing team color) and then strangely, the rest of the game, he went back to his regular blue shoes, which is what's in the player selection list for him. Will see if I can collect more data for you and if there's a way for me to do any kind of a data dump the next time I see it, would be happy to do it.

Hi Lukas. Turns out I actually have a full game repay saved of the example I'm just talking about, where I can see my 3b batting in a home game (correcting what I said previously) and wearing the opposing team's secondary color shoes for his 1st ab. Then by his second at bat, the shoes correct color to what he should be wearing.
Seems I also saved the game replay in question for our yellow-shoe wearing left fielder, again where opposing/visiting team has yellow as one of their primary colors. If you can tell me exactly what files you need me to save and send, would be happy to package them up via dropbox or whatever you like. Thanks. |
