let's be honest guys if there were changes like this at Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park the 3D changes would have been done ASAP.

Is this something we can manually add in?

Thanks Sweed!

Will you be making a Camden Yards this year? I’ll gladly donate a few dollars.

I believe Silvam14 has a fantastic 3D version of Camden Yards from last season, complete with updated dimensions and park factors. Silvam can you send the link in this post??

You can edit the park factors on the same Edit Ballpark screen as the dimensions. So, yup, you can edit it.

Will you be doing this? I have to do some research cause I’ve never actually updated park factors so I don’t want to do more damage. Lol

I would love to see it too - lifetime O's fan and pretty much only play with O's and fiction... would be nice to be completely accurate.

You won't do damage. For the dimensions themselves, wikipedia should have them on the far right-hand side. If a particular one is missing there are other sites. but that's just cosmetic. The park factors are best looked at on a three-year rolling basis if evaluating a park objectively but there is one year of data for the new Camden Yards.

Here is what is was supposed to do [stop Hrs]: https://www.mlb.com/news/how-2022-ca...affect-hitters

Did it do that? Absolutely. For both lefties and righties, it went from a consistently above average HR park to one that had only 77% of HRs as an average park. To make the changes on that Edit Ballpark screen, just recognize that you can split the Savant data into vs. L and vs. R. Then look at the corresponding number for 2022. OOTP uses a decimal place, so a "100" value on Savant is a 1.00 value in OOTP.

So, if your goal is to give OOTP a whirl with less HR being given up by your young pitching staff, taking it to 0.77 in OOTP will make it akin to how it played last year (it was coincidentally 77 for both L and R). I'm away from the game atm so don't have the screen up - but it's public beta. Change it in a Standard game and let it sim for a few years and compare it to the league or other parks.

Again, i don't know what other balancing OOTP does or if they too just take it from a trusted source like Savant but the gist of what you are looking for is fairly straight-forward with the in-game editing function. Good luck and while I'm a Red Sox fan, I am kinda rooting for the O's this year. Charm City is a good town with good fans.

Yes, user-created parks from previous versions still work in 24.

Baseball parks real representation are important for 3D.

Get it done right and this goes for the new Rogers Centre look.

Game is awesome.

I appreciate this post so much.

Good luck to you and the Sox this season. Here’s to the O’s and Sox next week

From Lukas as posted on another thread today...

We'll check on the attendance and fix that up.

Has anyone observed this in game? I seem to still be ending up with old dimensions and park factors.

Silvam, thank you first of all for your great work over the years with historical and fictional ballparks. What do you think of how the history ones that I for one still use, work in OOTP24? I noticed that a couple of parks makes the players labels go in odd places for example. Thanks again!

The attendance was not fixed, and the dimensions of Camden have also not been touched.

I changed my personally and made it what I think is best to suit what we see now. It stinks that it’s not updated but it’s a minor detail. Hopefully later or next year at least.

Just one of the disappointing aspects of the decline of OOTP over the last few years. Just feels like the passion is gone in the project and that the developers are on cruise control

Given current priorities, perhaps a rebranding is due: “Out of the Pack”
