Playing Historical Recalc (Historical database, not Minors) with Talent Development Engine turned on (set to default 100). Couple folks standing out. Only screenshot for Al Hall shown, but other players generating with similar issues (negative age)

Just FYI, this is still happening with John Dwyer in a league I just simmed a couple of days ago. Same results as I've had before, starting in 1921, simming 102 years, having a guy with crazy long career and age all wrong.

Not sure if this has been raised previously, but both Bill Mazeroski and Gene Freese are listed as being born in Wheeling, IL when in fact both come from Wheeling, WV.

Since the movement of my 1931 Negro league to 1932 didn't work, i.e. one of the 1932 teams kept the stats like wins/losses. Player stats, etc. as I noted in a previous post, I started a new historical 1932 season with the negro league. I set all the logos, uniforms, etc. for the league. However, even I set the league from MLB to Negro and all the teams and players are there, when I try to play a game it reverts to MLB teams and players and I can't change it. No matter how many times I set every thing the Negro League, and save it, the setting do stay for the game or when I exit the game and restart it.

I know I dealt with this a few years back...But, I do not remember how to fix this

In my 1976 franchise season all speed ratings dropped to 20-25

This happened right before opening day

Any advice on how I can fix this issue

Hi devs,

I guess the larger question is do we have a timeline for when the DB merge issues will be fixed. It doesn’t have to be a firm date, but something…I would even settle for “yes we have a timeline and we are progressing towards a resolve although we can’t commit to a date”

Also, is someone systematically going through and fixing ALL DB issues, or are issues only being addressed as they come up in this forum?

It’s a big database, I get that, but the merge caused all these issues spread across the baseball timeline and I think we just want to know that resources are being devoted to an issue that makes playing historical mode much more difficult.

Thanks for everything as always. It’s an amazing game, still…I just feel like I can’t play this part of it as I am a completionist.

I just simmed Brett's entire career using real lineups & transactions. No problems at all.

Entered as 1993 Rockies, this is Ryan Turner who should be 20 years old and in their minor league system. Batting stats are bugged.

Hrm, thank you for checking that. Will run some more tests and see if something else be causing it. He played in 23 games total for his career my last sim.

Ed Morris (COL, AA; 1884) appears to have been broken in the database at some point between Beta and current -- unclear whether this was related to the other fixes attempted to 1884 players. I've done a compare of a previous import (a 1957 Historical season) to an import run today, using the same import strings. Not sure if other historical AA players (or 1884-specific) were affected as well (may go back to Lloyd's identified issues with Dunlap, et al)

Playing historical replay with real historical transactions, real il transactions and real historical lineups on. I have minor leagues turned OFF. The games started for pitchers of the Stl Browns in 1908 are way off. Jack Powell doesn't get a start although in RL he started 32. Waddell in RL started 36 but in the sim started 46, Harry Howell started 49 in the sim but in RL started 32. Other pitchers are slightly off. I'm assuming this is to make up for Powell not having any starts. My simulation started in 1901
